Ghost Cookies

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 large egg
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon orange extract
6 squares (6 ounces) white chocolate
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon vegetable shortening

1. Preheat oven to 375F. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl; mix well.
2. Combine sugar and butter in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer on high speed until light and fluffy; 2-3 minutes. Add egg; beat well. Beat in orange juice and orange extract. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture; beat on low speed until a dough forms, about 3 minutes.
3. Roll one-fourth of the dough at a time on a lightly floured surgace to an 1/8-inch thickness. Cut dough into ghost shapes with a knife. Place shapes on ungreased baking sheets.
4. Bake cookies until edges are lightly browned, 10-14 minutes. Remove cookies from baking sheets immediately; place on wire racks to cool.
5. Melt white chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat or in a microwave according to package directions. Spread white chocolate on cooled cokies.
6. Melt chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in shortening. Pour into plastic bag; seal bag. Cut a small hole in the botton corner of bag. squeeze bag to pipe eyes and mouths on cookies.
